With Ph.D. major in Pharmaceutical Chemistry Art has knowledge of the activity of ingredients and how they provide benefits to the consumer. Art started as a Senior Scientist and progressed through various levels of R&D responsibility: Group Leader, Section Manager and Senior Director of R&D.

Anthony Vargas, founder and CEO of Vargas Cosmetics, Inc., is a Cosmetics Scientist, Innovator and Consultant. He has been involved in the research and development of Cosmetics for over 30 years and has collaborated with some of the top skin research scientists in the world during that time. A former Vice President of Research and Development at Elizabeth Arden, Vargas was instrumental and responsible for some of the most notable launches in cosmetic history. His work has always included discovering cutting edge technologies and innovative formulations.

Dennis Shortt made his mark in fashion and beauty while attending college, producing his first professional fashion production featuring supermodel Pat Cleveland, and new model sensation Iman in her first public runway production. Having the support of icons, supermodel/agency owner Wilhelmina and fashion designer/retailer Yves St. Laurent, other couture designer/retailers participated in his fashion productions. Then introduced to Health and Beauty Aids he mastered segment marketing. During his young career growth, he created a consumer promotions/touch marketing agency with Burrell Communications Group where he got his corporate officer stripes serving as President, Chief Creative Officer, and Partner. He has had the pleasure of creating and producing projects for major companies and brands, from packaged goods to entertainment. He is a veteran marketer who has partnered with or consulted for top advertising and marketing agencies. Dennis has to his credits a number of industry-first consumer promotion, entertainment and event campaigns.

Theron Andrews is an accomplished professional marketer with over 25 years of experience in the retail marketing arena, running large in-house organizations and managing advertising agencies, along with senior executive leadership on the advertising agency side of the business. His background includes senior executive level positions with Fortune 500 companies, international marketing, and e-commerce operational and marketing expertise. Theron has extensive experience in private-label brand development and corporate brand building. He has a passion for creating great customer experiences while building brands that achieve the status of “beloved” in the marketplace.
Karl Skorecki MD
Chief Scientific Officer
Karl Skorecki MD received his MD degree in 1977 and pursued postgraduate clinical and research training at the Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He served as Director of the Rappaport Research Institute for 15 years where he launched several major research programs that resulted in more than 250 publications and close to 8000 citations. One of his novel discoveries attracted widespread public and media interest including “Sixty Minutes”, Newsweek, Nova, National Geographic, Discovery, and many others. His current major research interests are in human population and molecular genetics.

Amy brings 15 years of experience supporting the business success of consumer products at Fortune 500 companies. Her unique consumer insights helped support over 10 brands and lead new product development pipelines at an international organization. Amy’s mastery of consumer empathy helps businesses succeed by filling gaps in the consumer experience. Amy graduated Phi Betta Kappa from Brandies University and went on to get her MBA at UNC- Chapel Hill.
Mr. Park is a Certified Hedge Fund Professional (CHP), with additional (CHP) certifications at the highest level in Portfolio Analytics & Risk Management. He also attended the Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business (Leadership & Management) and has served in executive leadership positions for over 20 years. Mr. Parks has closed several acquisitions and multimillion dollar lines of credit from hedge funds; as well as negotiated and / or closed many mergers, strategic partnerships, license and/or sponsored research agreements and joint ventures. As an experienced practitioner of business strategy, he has read, studied and applied numerous books and countless articles relating to business strategy (According to the Wall Street Journal, the most sought after executive skill set is strategic thinking).
